So. My mom and dad caught a mouse yesterday in one of those horrible traps that crushes the poor little creatures to death, so I decided to try to make a humane, no-kill trap.
I can't buy one because I don't have a driver's license (I'm not old enough) so I can't go anywhere like Home Depot (they sell them there) by myself. And my parents don't really like the idea of a humane mouse trap, I don't know why, so they won't let me give them the money and they go out and get one. So, that leaves me to making one of my own, and keeping it out of their sight. Not as easy as you might think.
I'm using the bottle-style trap, since that's the only one I've found that I can actually make myself AND hide from my parents. I put it in the same cupboard as where they put the evil one, to make sure the mice can get to it. I really hope they go into mine instead of my parents'.
